Can you introduce yourself ?

My name’s Maggie and I’m two years old and I’m mini miss diamond Lancashire

What made you enter pageants ?

I saw a video online of a girl in a pageant and asked my mummy if I could have a go too.

Have you competed before ?

Miss diamond will be my first pageant and I’m so excited. I have entered some online charity ones and won my first crown the other day for Miss May Beauty. That was exciting..

What the best thing that pageants have taught you ?

It’s good to do nice things for people and raise money for charity. And I like making friends.

How does it feel to be a real life princess/queen ?

It makes me happy I like crowns and beautiful dresses.

What are your hobbies when your not being a queen ?

I do Morris dancing and I love to sing and dance for my family and friends. My favourite song to perform is “naughty” from Matilda

Are you wanting to carry on competing in pageants ? And if so What’s your dream title ?

I don’t have a dream title yet but I hope to be just like the older diamond girls.

How did it feel when you won your first crown?

When I found out I won my first crown for the charity pageant I celebrated so loud I woke my baby sister up. Oops.

What have you been doing on the run up to the Diamond final ?

I have only recently joined the pageant world but i have been doing lots of practicing my walk and interview skills. I’ve been doing as much as possible to raise awareness for charities and good causes. And most importantly I’ve been having loads of fun.

Who do you look up to in the pageant community ?

I look upto all of the older girls. I’m the youngest in the Miss Diamond U.K. 2020 final so I have lots of roll models to look upto.

What’s your favourite pageant round ?

Fashion wear because I get to show my personality and sass. And talent because I like to perform.

Will you be taking your sash and crown into nursery once lockdown is over ?

I hope to once lockdown is over and I can go back to nursery. I can’t wait to show all my friends.

What do you friends and family think of you being a Diamond queen ?

They are really supportive and can’t wait to see
