Interview with Mini Miss Diamond Kent – Skylar

Firstly thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions about your pageant journey for my pageant lockdown blog it’s lovely getting to know fellow pageant queens and more about the systems that they represent.

Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Skylar and I am 4 years old and I’m Mini Miss Diamond Kent

What made you enter pageants ?

My mummy and watching my big sister win a big crown

You have competed before can you tell us what system you competed in last ?

Mini Miss Atlantic Beauty … I have lots of sashes

What made you decide to compete in the Diamond System ?

Georgia sponsored me. skylar then proceeded to say “I like Georgia”

What the best thing that pageants have taught you ?

To make lots of friends and help make money for poorly people.

How does it feel to be a real life queen ?

I’m a winner it makes me happy.

What are your hobbies when your not being a queen ?

I like to play with my kitten but he scratches me lots because I wake him up.

Are you wanting to carry on competing in pageants ? And if so whats your dream title ?

Yeeeeeeeee.. hmmm that’s tough…. I want a big crown.

If you were to win again what would it mean to you and what was it like when you won in the Atlantic System ?

I would laugh and win a crown and make my mummy and daddy happy. I was very excited what I got my crown for Atlantic.

What have you been doing in the run up to your pageant final ?

My mummy and me have done some judging, made money and taking lots of photos.

Who do you look up to in the pageant community ?

Caitlin she’s my favourite.

What do you friends and family think of you being a diamond queen ?

They’re very happy and help me.
