Interview with Mini Miss Diamond Dorset 2020 – Leah Smith

So thank you for having this interview with me I’m loving getting to know my fellow Diamond Queens !

Firstly what made you enter pageants ?

I accidentally got into pageants through my modelling agency they sent me on a job and it turned out to be a beauty pageant and I became obsessed with being a real princess.

So you have previously competed in pageants what have you competed in before ?

I competed in Miss Diamond UK last year I was Mini Miss Diamond North West I came third place.

It’s lovely to see you competing in the Diamond System again.

What made you decide to compete in Mini Miss Diamond U.K. again ?

I came of stage last year at finals and asked mommy if I could do it again and she said yes.

What the best thing that pageants have taught you?

Everyone is a princess, I have made lots of friends

What’s your pageant platform and why ?

Allergy awareness because I have a severe allergy to dairy and soya

What’s your dream title ?

Mini Miss Diamond UK

If you were to win what would it mean to you ?

That I get to go to Vegas 🙈

What’s the best advice you have for fellow pageant queens ?

Have fun

What have you been doing in the run up to the final of Mini Miss Diamond U.K. ?

Lots of appearances and enjoying myself playing with my friends

What makes a good pageant role model ?

Someone who is kind and friendly and is a princess

What’s your favourite pageant round ?

Fashion because I get to swish my skirt.

How do you deal with pageant nerves ?

I have my big sister do pageants with me and she will always tell me to enjoy myself.
