Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions about your pageant journey.

So firstly what made you enter pageants ?

It was first my Mom’s idea to enter me in a pageant. She wanted me to try something new. In the past I always loved the idea of pageantry, so last year I decided to try my very first pageant.

So you have competed in pageants before ?

The galaxy system was actually my first title, before this pageant I was doing pageants like natural and community pageants.

What made you decide to compete in the Galaxy system ?

Ms. Galaxy Canada – Regine was the one who really wanted me to compete in the galaxy system with her. She was previously my pageant coach so I was really exited to do Canada Galaxy with her. I heard so many great things from this system, I really wanted to be apart of it.

What the best thing that pageants have taught you ?

Pageants have taught me so much but something I learned from pageants that is so valuable is to make the best out of every moment.

What’s your pageant platform and why ?

There isn’t one specific charity/organization that I support. But I do support mental health organizations and my local food bank.

How does it feel to be a real life princess/queen ?

It’s great being able to feel like a princess/queen a day long! I had an amazing chance to dress up in a gown to send a short video to a little girl who adores princesses. She was absolutely so happy a real life princess wanted to say hi to her.

What are your hobbies when you’re not being a queen ?

When I’m not a queen I love dancing and making art. I also love baking all sorts of treats.

Are you wanting to carry on competing in pageants ? And if so what’s your dream title ?

I want to continue doing pageants forever! My dream title would be being Miss Universe.

When your name was called as Junior Miss Galaxy Canada how did it feel?

When my name was called my mind went absolutely blank. I remember being so overwhelmed and happy, I just wanted to fall on the ground. In my mind I was constantly thinking whether this was actually happening.

What have you been doing in the run up to Junior Miss Galaxy International?

Since Canada Galaxy I’ve been preparing for internationals. I’ve done so many things to help around my community. I had the chance to help with my local food banks, donation centres, charities and so much more.

Who do you look up to in the pageant community ?

I look up to my all galaxy queens.

What’s your favourite pageant round ?

My favourite pageants rounds are between interview and fashion wear.

Did you take you crown and sash into school after you won ?

I haven’t been able to take my crown and sash to school yet, but after I competed my friend found my social media and she spread the news of me being a pageant girl to everyone. Everyone is so supportive and some of my friends have gotten an interest in starting pageantry.

What do you friends and family think of you being a Galaxy queen ?

They are all so proud and very supportive of me. They are always cheering in the background making sure that I am doing my best.

Thank you again for taking the time to answer my questions it’s been lovely to read your answers. I wish you the best at the International Finals later on in the year please keep me informed. Much love Charlotte, Ms Diamond South Yorkshire
