Firstly thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions about your pageant journey for my pageant lockdown blog it’s lovely getting to know fellow pageant queens and more about the systems that they represent.
What made you enter pageants ?
After trying my first pageant I wanted to gain more confidence so set out to find out more about the pageant industry and what it could do for me.
Can you tell us about your pageant journey?
I’ve only won 1 system before which is Miss International Bombshell where I took the Miss title and then the Overall Bombshell title the following year (like a queen’s of queen’s title). I have competed in many systems from small charity ones to larger ones that lead to internationals like galaxy.
What made you decide to compete in Miss Inspiration ?
I wanted a system that focused more on what you can do with your title and what you can achieve out in the community, and with this allows you to grow.
What the best thing that pageants have taught you ?
You are your worst competition. I have previously put too much pressure on myself going to some competitions that I never have a chance to enjoy the experience because I’m constantly judging myself.
What’s your pageant platform and why ?
I am a a Marie Curie Cancer Care fundraiser as my father was diagnosed with cancer and spent his last 3 weeks in the hospice, the care was so amazing that I felt like I wanted to give back. I hit my original target of £200 but wanted to keep going and have over £600 now.
What’s your dream title ?
Miss Inspiration UK. After competing in my first finals with them I was determined to go back and have been preparing for over 2 years for a second chance at the crown.
If you were to win Miss Inspiration U.K. what would it mean to you ?
It would mean all my hard work has paid off. It would show me not to give up and because I didn’t succeed the first time doesn’t mean you can’t get back up and try again.
What’s the best advice you have for fellow pageant Queens ?
Enjoy your time with your titles, you never know who’s watching as it may lead you to larger experiences.
What have you been doing in the run up to Miss Inspiration U.K. ?
I have been trying to do as many appearances as I can (gets hard with a young baby) but I have joined in with online campaigns. II have been practising in my heels each week and going through my outfits to ensure I am happy with them, feel comfortable in them and that they fit me nicely.

Whats your favourite ever appearance ?
It’s always hard to choose one, but I think visiting one of our local agriculture shows as it combined my joy of pageants with my daily life on the farm.
How has the lockdown due to COVID19 effected your pageant journey ?
It has slightly as the finals have been postponed to next year but its also a positive that I have more time to prepare.
What makes a good pageant role model ?
I don’t think it’s anything in particular. Just being the best of yourself and embracing it.
What’s your favourite pageant round ?
Evening wear because I enjoy getting to wear the stunning gowns as I’m used to being covered in mud on the farm so it’s a little change.
How do you deal with pageant nerves ?
Some times I don’t think I can, but as soon as you walk out on the stage I just tell myself everything you have been working for is for now so let’s show them what I’ve got.
How can we follow your journey?
