Firstly thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions about your pageant journey for my pageant lockdown blog. It’s lovely getting to know fellow pageant queens and more about the systems that they represent.
What made you enter pageants ?
To be honest my children and family have been trying to push me for a long time to compete but I’m not a confident person. Although something this year has made me want to tick it off my bucket list. So I’ve took the plunge 😱
So you have never competed before but you have been in the pageant community for some time. Can you tell us more ?

I’ve never competed in pageant I done one online for Miss Magical Smile and won Ms Magical Smile which was a massive shock! Im usually the pageant mum as I have FOEW girls who are pageant queens. One is foew international queen and the other is Mini Miss Atlantic 2020 and Mini Miss Diamond Kent and Little Miss Glamour U.K. Finalist Plus lots of little side pageants.
My amazing photographer friend susan she shared a post about Miss Glamour and actually pushed me to take the leap and join the system and to be honest it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.
What the best thing that pageants have taught you ?

That it isn’t about winning it’s about making friends and I have made some unreal friends for life of all ages. This last year it’s taught me how to fundraise, that pageants are all about being skinny, bleach blonde and fake teeth ect. It’s nothing like that at all. It’s such an amazing world.
What’s your pageant platform and why ?
My pageant platform is various different charities. My main charity is together for short lives and my other platforms are Samaritans, well-being of woman and headway east Kent plus the NHS! I’m so busy as you can imagine. I’d like to raise more awareness for PTSD if I get the opportunity to being home a title.
What’s your dream title ?
My dream title would probably be the title I’m competing for Miss Glamour or even better Miss Glamour Charity Queen! I’d love to compete in Miss Stardust although I will be heavily pregnant 😂
If you were to win Miss Glamour U.K. what would it mean to you ?
If I were to win I’d probably cry like a baby because my hormones are all over the place but to be honest I would use my title to promote the pageant itself, also raise awareness do PTSD and lots of other charities and causes close to my heart.
What’s the best advice you have for fellow pageant queens ?
Just enjoy yourself. Don’t go in thinking of the crown that’s a bonus. Go into pageants to make friends because you will meet your friends for life in these amazing systems. Always research your systems before competing and making sure you know who your fundraising for me that’s it’s a charity you connect well to.
What have you been doing in the run up to the final of Miss Glamour U.K. ?
In the run up to my finals I have been consistently raising money for 3 different charities, holding pageants, raffles, competitions and lots more. I’ve got a sponsored walk in the works which being heavily pregnant will exhaust me as it’s almost 10miles.
I have much more in the works but l can’t get out to do half of them but when COVID is finished I most definitely will be competing my ideas.
How has the lockdown due to COVID19 effected your pageant journey ?
Yes massively but I won’t let it beat or stop me reaching my full potential.
Has your reign been extended due to COVID19?
Up to now “touch wood” not yet 🤞🏼
What makes a good pageant role model ?
I’m ambitious, I work so hard to make sure anyone I meet or love with has a good role model. I push my girls to believe and they will achieve. I was always put down and when I have been I’ve made sure I’ve achieved them. I’m genuine and caring. I’ll do whatever I can do anyone even if I know them or not.
What’s your favourite pageant round ?
Got to be fashion round! Haven’t competed in fashion YET but my girls have and I love the fun and creative side to fashion.
How do you deal with pageant nerves ?
Ask me again in August! 😂 unsure at the moment.
