So after last night I’m unsure what is happening with lockdown but I’m going to continue my lockdown weekly blog to highlight everyone’s online campaigns to help spread everyone’s amazing messages !!

Yesterday I wore purple for World Lupus Day which is Ms Lincolnshire’s Platform

She wanted 50 people to take part and got 82 how amazing !! She also put this together !!

Joining in @sianspageantsx online campaign #yourenotalone to help raise awareness of domestic abuse. Around 2 million people are affected by domestic abuse in the U.K. and due to lockdown this has increased by around 25% please put a red heart on your hand to raise awareness of this !

There is lots of help available don’t suffer in silence

Today is Fibromyalgia awareness day and I’m supporting Emily Hodgeson by wearing Yellow to raise awareness .

Emily suffers from fibromyalgia and is in the YEMI System.

💛💛💛

Today is national Nurses day and I’m supporting my fellow Diamond Queen Ms Diamond Portsmouth in her campaign by wearing something blue and posting a photo online !!

Nurses are helping us through this terrible pandemic and I literally can’t thank them enough !!

I’m joining in with Catherine Tait and @TracyTait-Mrs Rose UK Finalist 2020 online campaign #GoBlue4ME this is to help raise awareness of the lifelong condition ME which affects an approximately 250,000 in the UK and 17million worldwide. Individuals who have this condition experience the symptoms fatigue, pain and their body and brain’s ability to recover after small amounts of exercise.

Today is fibromyalgia day and I am wearing purple in support of Miss Diamond Dorset as her dad is a sufferer .

For those that don’t know it’s a musculoskeletal syndrome which causes a variety of symptoms.

Such as :

widespread pain, tender points, incapacitating fatigue, anxiety, depression, migraines/chronic headaches and many more symptoms ! #fibromyalgiaawareness

Today I got involved in Chloe Shannon Brookes creative Challenge.

This weeks task was in honour of the (cancelled due to COVID19) Met Gala

We had to design an outfit you would of worn as per the current theme ‘About time: fashion and duration’.

I decided to use time as a theme and chose to do a clock dress with a pocket watch on the bust with numbers at the bottom as well a time quote. I finished the look with a clock fascinator !

I really can’t draw but it was fun to get involved !!

Today I had an interview published in The Queens Digest !

I’m joining in with Becca Tasker’s #NeverFeelAshamed online campaign

Despite suffering from Anxiety and depression in the past I have overcome this with the help of my friends and family.

Anxiety is a type of fear usually associated with the thought of a threat or something going wrong in the future, but can also arise from something happening right now. Anyone can suffer from anxiety and it’s nothing to be ashamed off !

In 2013, there were 8.2 million cases of anxiety in the UK, more of these were women then men !

Joining in Sadie Pulman Miss Wales Finalist in her online campaign …

WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR VOICE?

-I have used my voice to help someone through a dark time

– I have used my voice to reach out to love ones

– I have used my voice to promote charities and raise vital funds.

– I have used my voice to help share pageant girls journeys from across the world

– I have used my voice to raise awareness for cancer awareness and end of life care

– I have used my voice to be a role model to my daughter

There is so much negativity on this planet. Words are powerful and your voice matters. You can use your voice to do more damage or you can use it to change someone’s world. Please choose wisely.

To join in please share a picture of yourself feeling powerful (or just one you like of yourself) and tell us how you use your voice (or how you WANT to use your voice) with the hashtag #VoiceForEquality .

I’m joining in with Yasmina Newbold, Little Miss Teen Great Britain’s #AHappyPlaceAHappyMind campaign for mental health awareness.

My happy place is with my daughter ❤️

This week 11-17th May it’s Dying Matters Awareness Week

As some of you know Cancer Awareness and End of life is my chosen platform so instead of just posting a photo about this I decided to do a little video !

This years theme is ‘Dying to be Heard’ so when someone wants to talk about death and getting ready for it will need to listen and make sure there wishes are fulfilled !!

I took part in Mrs/Ms Mystic Beauty’s (Clare Worton) Creative Pageant Challenge !

Make a dress out of bags with a nod to your platform !

My eco dress has a yellow ribbon which represents sarcoma or bone cancer ! Which you can’t see in the full length as my sash covers it so I took a close up too !

Taking part in Mini Miss Global Darling – Cheshire campaign #iloveme

This is a campaign to celebrate all the good things that make you special.

A couple of things I love about me is drive I always like to get things done before a deadline and I always try to see the positive !

Taking part in Bluebell Little Miss Swansea & Swansea Valley online campaign for national vegetarian week she has been a veggie her whole life so she decided to start a campaign on how great and easy vegetarian food can be! 🌱🥗🌯🌮🍵🥕🌽🍉

Just post a photo of you with your favourite vegetarian snack or meal And add the hashtag

Hats for Headway Day!

Helping to raise awareness for Headway which is a charity that supports people with Brain Injuries.

Why not get involved too? And don’t forget to take a selfie and donate £2 to Headway.

What you need to do is dress up as different disney characters, inspired make up, disney bound and post a statistic or a fact about dementia 💙

My dementia statistic for today is

Dementia is a syndrome, usually of a chronic or progressive nature, caused by a variety of brain illnesses that affect memory, thinking, behaviour and ability to perform everyday activities

As some of you know I’ve been interviewing fellow pageant queens for my lock down blog, I’ve done just over 60 interviews in the last 3 weeks with more to come ! But today I had my first one published with Pageant Magazine due to covid 19 they are online at the moment as the magazine isn’t been published. But here’s my first interview which is now online !

I also took part in diamond campaign !!

Here’s the original photo !

Day 2 of 7

What you need to do is dress up as different disney characters, inspired make up, disney bound and post a statistic or a fact about dementia 💙

My dementia statistic for today is

The number of people living with dementia worldwide is currently estimated at 50 million and will almost triple by 2050.

I have seen a couple of my sister queens posting about Neurodiversity which is something I had never heard off ! But I have learnt it is a concept where neurological differences are to be recognized and respected as any other human variation. These differences can include those labeled with Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyscalculia, Autistic Spectrum, Tourette Syndrome, and others so I am supporting them by raising awareness !!

Supporting my diamond sister Sasha in spreading awareness sit CDG as today May 16th, is CDG Awareness Day!

Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) are a family of rare metabolic disorders. There are approximately 100 different forms and the great majority still do not have a CURE.

She is raising awareness for Eiden who’s primary diagnosis is CDG-B4Galt7 (also classified as Spondylodysplastic Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). It is incredibly rare. As with many syndromes there are a spectrum of severities & unfortunately Eiden sits at the severe, life limiting, life threatening end.

At 9 he is very small. He is the size of an average 2-3 year old. Developmentally he is approx the same although it’s almost impossible to measure cognitive levels.

He is tube fed day & night.

He cannot talk and is unlikely to ever communicate verbally.

He is doubly incontinent.

He has complex medical needs.

He is in pain.

He will never be independent

He is not expected to reach adulthood.

There may not be a cure but quicker diagnosis, management of symptoms and understanding of the condition would improve the lives to many families.

This year’s campaign is #StandUnited4CDG. This is to convey the importance of unity and collaboration to support one another.

SO today families are going Green.

Why Green? Because Green is an emotionally positive color, giving CDG families the ability to love and nurture ourselves and others unconditionally.

What you need to do is dress up as different disney characters, inspired make up, disney bound and post a statistic or a fact about dementia 💙

My dementia statistic/fact for today is

Dementia mainly affects people over the age of 65 (one in 14 people in this age group have dementia), and the likelihood of developing dementia increases significantly with age. However, dementia can affect younger people too.

Today is Shine A Light on Neurofibromatosis

2020 Day where you wear blue or green to help spread awareness. There is currently no cure for this disease but hopefully one day this will change !

As you know cancer awareness and end of life care is my platform so this campaign is very close to me !

Taking part in Faith-Louise Gould campaign #smileandshinetogether

During this pandemic we definitely need more smiles !

So I had some surprise press today !
