She is pleading to raising awareness of the release of sky lanterns and balloons. What goes up, must come back down and unfortunately our wildlife and environment are paying for it. Please do not release these purposely.

I’m pledging to keep feeding the wild birds by giving them nuts and seeds especially as it’s breeding season I also pledge to put a bird box out for them to use

I nominate all my Diamonds 💎

Today is International Midwife Day and is celebrated on the 5th of May every year, to appreciate the work of midwives. Midwives are women who have practical knowledge of helping pregnant women give birth. In the early times when there were no highly professional and equipped hospitals for pregnant ladies, they used to give birth to a child at home with the help of these midwives. I don’t know what I would of done without my midwife when I had Evie she really was my rock !!

So my pageant friend Zara who was the 1st runner up at the first ever Ms Great Britain informed me that it’s Sun Awareness Week !

It runs from the 6th of May to the 12th of May and the aim of this week is to raise awareness for the dangers of long exposure to the sun, and to promote safety when outside.

Now cancer awareness is part of my platform and sun exposure can cause skin cancer so don’t stay out too long in the sun and use a high factor SPF Zara is posting lots of different facts throughout the week so go give her a follow on insta her username is in the photo ❤️

Today is Global Hand Hygiene Day – May 5th 2020 – Safe Hands Challenge

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has launched Global Hand Hygiene Day to recognise handwashing is one of the most effective actions you can take to reduce the spread of pathogens and prevent infections, including the COVID-19 virus. Everyone can play a role in preventing infections by practicing regular and frequent handwashing.

This is more important than ever to help stop the spread of covid 19, remember was your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds often.

I also had an article published today !! Due to covid 19 it’s only online but it’s on The Queens Digest Facebook Page

Supporting Jane Dando beauty queen in her online campaign who is YEMI Miss Wiltshire

👑 TLC4BC Challenge 👑

She is challenging us to join the TLC4BC campaign

The challenge is simple, all you need to do is wear a Facemask and take a photo of you doing it in your sash.

In the time it’s taking you to do that, one woman within the UK would have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

So she wanting us to join the campaign today, to raise awareness for Breast Cancer in the UK.

For more information on boob & pec checking, head over to this link https://coppafeel.org/your-boobs/boob-check-101/

As you know my platform is cancer awareness and end of life care so this is incredibly important and I love the idea !!

I’m taking part in Miss Derbyshire Inspiration new Online campaign which is #giventime

Given Time is the most valuable thing you can give.

I have contributed to my community since for years and continue to do so once lock down is over.

So I am supporting her as she launches this campaign to encourage other to give time to their community.

This is my chosen platform, is Cancer Awareness and End of Life care so I volunteer at my local children’s Hospice as well as fundraising for them.

To get involved post a picture with the hashtag #GivenTime then put a picture with you doing something positive within your community. #GivenTime #community #volunteering

I’m joining in with Dawn Lowe – Ms WorldClass Classic Ambassador, campaign in wearing blue for asthma awareness.

I suffered with asthma as a child and got re diagnosed last year. I often have to use my inhaler and carry it around with me. Because I have asthma I now also have to have the flu jab each year as catching flu can make it worse.

Asthma is caused by swelling (inflammation) of the breathing tubes that carry air in and out of the lungs. This makes the tubes highly sensitive, so they temporarily narrow.

Next a green campaign 💚🌍♻️

Happy #NationalNursesWeek! Thank you to all the nurses in our GP surgeries, on Covid19 wards, NHS Nurses, Nurses that have come out of retirement and Marie Curie Nurses who are still supporting cancer patients throughout the pandemic which you all know is my chosen platform 💞💞 Thank you to our talented & compassionate nurses!

This campaign is from the Freya , who’s grandfather was diagnosed with bladder cancer.

Bladder Cancer Awareness starts on 4th of May to the 10th.

As you know cancer awareness and end of life care is my platform so please get involved in helping to support Freya.

Hope all the girls can get involved and show there love for miss Freya !

Today is World Ovarian Cancer Day (WOCD). It aims to create a community where those living with ovarian cancer, survivors and their families and friends can unite, share their experiences and help educate the public about this deadly disease.

As you all know cancer awareness and end of life care are my platform so this is incredibly important to me as currently 184,000 deaths each year are caused by ovarian cancer ! Hopefully one day we will find a cure to this terrible disease !

Supporting Ms Lincolnshire by wearing purple for world lupus day !

World Lupus Day increases awareness of lupus and helps gather support for the more than 5 million people affected by this condition worldwide. Lupus is a serious, life-altering autoimmune disease that can affect any organ of the body.

Joining in @missteenliverpool2020 #realskinselfie This is me with zero make up ! I always were make up to work but I do feel confident enough to not wear make up when I’m out and about #realskinselfie

To mark the last day of #deafawarenessweek I’ve took part in #fingerspellathon !!

I’ve attached the alphabet in sign language can you work out the word ?

I’m joining in with Miss Pageant Girl Wigan 2020’s campaign #FightForYourWorld to raise awareness for the WWF, by posting a black and white photo in resemblance to their panda.

WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. Their mission is to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.

To achieve this they are finding ways to help transform the future for the world’s wildlife, rivers, forests and seas !!

Will you go black and white to help raise awareness ?
