So following on from my pageant activities in lockdown week 1 here’s what I got up into lockdown week 2 !!

This was my first online campaign in week 2

I’m joining Lauri Ellen Louise Powell MissEarth England campaign

By joining #EARSAGAINSTFUR she’s asking you to Join her in raising awareness for the plight of animals exploited by the fur industry by sharing your animal ears photo too! 🐻🦁🐼🐰🦊

Below is a link to a PETA article about how these poor animals are treated it really is incredibly heart breaking !!

9 Shocking Fur Facts

So please only wear faux fur never real fur and help protect animals from all over the world

The second campaign I got involved in was this one

Supporting Royal International Miss Junior Teen Aimee whose platform is mental health and well-being. She has created an online campaign and She would love everyone to take part. Mental health is becoming a more talked about subject, but thousands are still struggling 💙 use the #oktosay and get involved 💙

As you know mental health isn’t my platform but I’ve had mental health issues myself so I’m proud to support a campaign that help raises awareness and allows mental health to be more talked about

For anyone that needs mental health support there are a lot of charities there to help including mind and Samaritans

Next I …..

Supporting my sister queen Miss Diamond Leicester 2020 in her campaign to raise awareness of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) which is very common and you are likely to know at least one person with it!

It is so important to raise awareness for IBS, as by doing this we can gain vital research.

Common symptoms include: 💎 Chronic, recurrent bowel problems 💎 Abdominal pain

There are many changes you can make to your lifestyle to improve IBS which include: 💎 Relaxation – helps to reduce stress and improve emotional wellbeing 💎Exercise – Ensures maximum health and releases endorphins 💎 Diet – By eating natural and whole foods the body will find it easier to digest and not cause discomfort.

Please Join her in raising awareness for IBS by placing your hand on your stomach along with #IBSAwarenessMonth

The next campaign was to turn Facebook blue !!

I’m joining in Ms Somerset Atlantic 2020/21 online campaign #lightitupblue which is for World Autism Awareness Month. 💙💙🗣 She is asking people to take part her campaign to raise awareness to a disorder which is very personal to her.

All you have to do is simply share a photo of you wearing something BLUE with the hashtag #autismawarenessmonth. It could be a BLUE top, hat, dress, bandana, earrings etc

CelebrateDifferences for Autism Awareness Month. Spread awareness, promote, acceptance, ignite and change!

Next it was time to get the pageant shoes out !!

Joining in #missderbyshireinspirations campaign which is a self confidence project called #fiercefootforward

This is to help those like her that may struggle with their confidence in certain situations.

“Therefore I think we all need to learn how we can transform into a more confident person no matter what challenge we are faced with. I always start everything by the left which is why I have put my left to the front.”

I think this is an amazing campaign to get behind as I have definitely had my confidence issues in the past and that’s why I entered pageants in the first place !!

Then it was time to turn Facebook blue again !!

Supporting the #BelieveinBlue campaign which is in support of Doncaster Youth Council campaign which supports our fantastic key workers (NHS and beyond)! #covid19 #StayAtHome

Then we turned Facebook green for bowel cancer which is part of my pageant platform

I’m joining in Teen Natural Beauty International in her campaign to bring awareness to bowel cancer as April is bowel cancer awareness month.

As cancer awareness is my platform and my grandad sadly passed away to this disease it’s something I strongly support.

She is wanting everyone to help turn Facebook green over April to help spread awareness of some of the common symptoms of Bowel Cancer and help encourage people to be screened early if they do have any.

Please share the symptoms it may save a love ones life 💚

💚bleeding from the bottom or in your poo 💚persistent change in bowel habit 💚unexplained weight loss 💚extreme tiredness for no reason 💚pain or lump in you tummy

It may be one or many of these symptoms but please don’t ignore them!

💚Don’t be embarrassed, get it checked!

The next campaign I got involved with was about taking medication for mental health.

I am joining in #missderbyshireinspiration online campaign which she created last year called #itsoktomedicate to combat the stigma attached to taking medication for mental health issues. I have previously taken medication on a daily basis to help with mild anxiety and depression. In her words “A lot of people still ask why do you take medication in order to be ‘happier’ my answer is simple it works for me, I feel like me again. There is no shame in taking medication for any illness or condition it’s there to help.”

To join her in her campaign simply take a selfie and write the hashtag #ItsOkToMedicate to help raise awareness and end the stigma attached to taking medication to help with conditions and illnesses. It’s so important during this time to keep On top of any medication you are taking. #ItsOkToMedicate #mentalhealthawarewness

Then it was time for me to film myself again for my sister queen !!

Hi everyone

I’m supporting my sister queen Miss Diamond Leicester in her campaign #goredfortheheart !!

All you need to do is post a video of you in red and saying go red for the heart ❤️

Here’s mine !!

Then it was about trying to change people’s opinion on pageants

Pageants aren’t what people think there are a lot of misconceptions surrounded by pageants I am going to share with you what pageants mean to be. This was created by Caitlin Marie Toal to bring us pageant girls together and show what they mean to us.

pageantsare Not just about your appearance it’s about how you conduct yourself and show the best version of you.

pageantsare Bringing girls and ladies from all backgrounds around the country into a sisterhood or as said in today’s interview a family a community that supports each other from lending dresses to helping develop your platforms

pageantsare Being able to represent your country on a national/international stage.

pageantsare Developing your charity/platform by raising awareness to a wider audience while raising vital funds for the charities that are close to your heart

pageantsare Community Work and Fundraising did you know that the diamond system ran a charity pageant this year and it raised over £1k for breast cancer !!

pageantsare Being apart of a new family and meeting life long friends

pageantsare Developing your confidence and life skills as well as pushing you to do things you never thought you could do for me it’s made me bungee jump, skydive and run a half marathon

pageantsare My hobby and a big part of my life sometimes even like a second job you are in love with and love being apart of them.

Then I made another little film,

It’s definitely an online appearance day !!

The thing about lock down is not wearing make up everyday or even doing your hair so sorry about the all the posts but I did my hair and make up for a Skype interview with my sister queen so thought I would do all my online campaigns together ! (Pure lazy I know)

This one is incredibly important at the moment as the U.K. and the world deals with the pandemic and I love this campaign #onecommunityfacingonecrisis

Then another video to support my diamond sister my daughter had to help me with this one.

Joining in Miss Diamond Dorset’s campaign To get people to out there #weallinthistogether #apartbuttogether #stayathome Ps mummy can’t dance !!

Next it was back to discussing my pageant platform which is cancer awareness and end of life care.

April is Skin Cancer Awareness Month and as you all know cancer is my platform.

So I am joining in with Cancer Research UK’s Campaign #ownyourtone my skin tone is olive (most of the time but I do go fair in the winter) I do tan very easily in the sun but I also burn on my chest so I have to be careful. I wear factor right for me and always make sure it has 4 UVA stars or above, I make sure I get shade when I need to and put lots of aftersun on.

Then it was time to salute ! Supporting Poppy – Junior Natural Beauty Wales campaign to salute all key workers fof the amazing work they are doing to help keep us safe and making sure we have the things we need 💜👑

On Sunday it was all about supporting our nhs workers again !

Taking part in miss teen pageant girl Nottingham Megan Jubbs campaign #iamsoproud part 2 !!

This is to show someone that you are proud of them !

In the current climate I think it’s clear that we are proud of our nhs staff and all our key workers as well as our children ! All of them have had there world turned upside down but they and we as a country are working through this together and we will be stronger !

Then after 3 attempts I completely my no rush makeup brush challenge for my sister queen on TikTok again my daughter had to help !

Next I supported another diamond queen in her online campaign

Supporting Lucy Hollister – Pageants on her online campaign which is Parkinson’s Awareness Week.

For those that don’t know the of week 5-11 April is Parkinson’s Awareness Week.

With the 11th being world Parkinson’s day.

Parkinson’s disease is a condition in which parts of the brain become progressively damaged over many years. This disease has taken one of her close friends family which is heartbreaking and I fully support her in making more awareness of this terrible disease.

The theme this year is diet and exercise and how these can have a direct impact on Parkinson’s symptoms.

These life style changes can significantly improve the quality of life of someone with Parkinson’s.

2.5 hours of exercise a week can slow down progression of Parkinson’s Disease, improve mobility and reduce cognitive decline.

Join her this week in a swap.

She swapped a cookie for an apple 🍏 and I’m swapping crisps for a banana 🍌

ParkinsonsTribe #ProactiveforParkinsons

Then the blog pageant video came out I mentioned i did this in lockdown week one but the video wouldn’t load, anyway here’s the final video which you can view on YouTube https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=5Quy82fUvI4

I wonder what week 3 will bring to pageant land !!
